Funding
The Madison Forward Fund provided $930,000 dollars in direct cash assistance to Madison families. The direct cash assistance was funded entirely by non-taxpayer dollars, provided by generous private donors. The full list of MFF donors includes: Alliant Energy Foundation, American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation, Dan and Patti Rashke (TASC) Family Foundation, Madison Gas & Electric Foundation, Mayors for a Guaranteed Income, PRL Keystone Foundation, Roots & Wings Foundation, TruStage Foundation, and UW Health. The City of Madison provided in-kind support for staffing and community outreach. Additionally, the City was awarded a Mobilizing Communities for a Just Response (MC4JR) grant from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, which supported administrative costs, staffing and community outreach. No City tax dollars were used to directly support Madison Forward Fund costs.
