Travel, Lodging, and Meal Information

Applied Microeconometrics Workshop participants are asked to make their own travel, lodging, and meal arrangements. The links below are provided for participants’ convenience.

Travel

In addition to flight arrival and departure information, the Dane County Regional Airport’s Web site, at http://www.msnairport.com/, offers information about car rentals, ground transportation, and other travel-related needs.

The UW’s Visitor Information and Programs Web site, at http://www.vip.wisc.edu/, has maps and driving directions to campus, parking information, and other useful information for University visitors.

Lodging

Special-rate dormitory rooms

Dormitory rooms are available to workshop participants at a special rate. Please note: Hotel rooms in downtown Madison are sparse in early August. Average rates for downtown hotel rooms range from $125 to $150 per night.
