2008–2009 IRP Visiting Scholars Seminar Series
The Institute for Research on Poverty is marking the 10th anniversary of its Visiting Scholars Program in 2008 by introducing an annual seminar series for participating poverty studies scholars.
The intent of the program, which is supported by the University, is to enhance the research interests and resources available to scholars from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, to foster interaction between resident IRP affiliates and a diverse set of scholars, and to broaden the corps of poverty researchers.
